YOUR EXPEDITION: GROWTH & MARKETING AT POLARSTEPS Over the past 10 years, Polarsteps has grown massively through word-of-mouth, thanks to our product and tech department building a top-quality user experience for all our travelers. The Growth & Marketing department is a growing team, but already doing big things. You'll take full ownership of our user acquisition strategies, spanning paid flywheels including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Apple Search Ads, to our content flywheels including LLM optimizations, video search, ASO and Reddit engagement to maximize acceleration within our key markets (FR, DE, UK, US, NL). Besides that, you will work closely with our product managers to optimize the user flow for paid users to improve activation rates. With ratings of 4.8 and 4.7 on the app stores and features in multiple Google and Apple showcases, we've got an impressive past. But we're even more excited for the future, and the impact you can make from day one is huge, directly influencing how we can accelerate user acquisition in all our key markets. YOUR ITINERARY What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. You will: - Execute, monitor, and optimize performance marketing campaigns, conducting tests, analyzing data, and identifying trends with a focus on lowering CPAs and acquiring high quality users. - Collaborate with agencies, UGC creators, Polarsteps Explorers and Travel Creators to develop compelling on-brand creatives that resonate with target audiences. - Improve our App Store Rankings for Google Play & iOS Store (ASO) to enhance organic install growth. (We currently work closely with an App Store Optimization (ASO) expert but would like you to start taking it over) - Improve our Organic Search strategy on TikTok, YouTube and LLMs to capture users the moment they are planning their next trip. - Track, report, and deeply analyze campaign performance, understanding the core problems and drivers of change. THE EQUIPMENT IN YOUR BACKPACK What we're hoping you'll bring with you. ✅ 6+ years of experience in performance marketing (e.g., Apple Search Ads, Google App campaigns, Meta and TikTok) at mobile app companies. ✅ A solid understanding of the mobile tracking and measurement ecosystem (e.g. SKAD, AEM, ATT, etc.). ✅ Hands-on experience with product analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Appsflyer, Adjust, Looker, Metabase etc.). ✅ A data-driven mindset with the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights. ✅ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present analyses and findings in clear, impactful formats. 1ST CLASS POLARSTEPS EXTRAS Some cool things to make the journey extra sweet. - Salary range: Between EUR 72.000 and 85.000 gross per year + 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours/week).
